The TM App
The TM App is completely voluntary. The preferred method of teaching TM remains the same: all in person.
Course Fees
In general, the same as Maharishi Foundation
GMDO-USA’s policy with regard to the “Satisfaction Guarantee” policy is that we are leaving the decision to you as the certified TM teacher to offer this policy or not when teaching through GMDO. We will honor the policy if you choose to offer it. Please look in the Materials section below for the forms that you will need to use should you choose to offer it.

Additional Details
Deferred payments of 25% paid four times over four months with signed deferred payment form. (First payment must be equal to or greater than the deferred payments.)

Acceptable Course Fee Payments and How to Process Them
In general, the same as Maharishi Foundation
Our payment forms are very simple. You’ll find them in printable form in our Materials section below.
Your students may pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, certified check, personal check, company check, money order or cash. If the fee is paid to you in cash, please keep the cash in exchange for your own check or credit card payment to GMDO. You may collect cash, or get the check or money order just before instruction.
We now offer an option for the student to enter her payment information securely herself. The instructions for you to create a payment link for your student follow here. If your student prefers to give you her credit card information, please have her fill out and sign the payment form which you will find in the materials section. You can then either scan it and email to bhanger@TM-Women.org or call Bev at either 641-209-1848 or 641-814-6864 (mobile).
How to enter and process credit/debit card payments easily to our website:
- Open your browser and enter the following link: https://tm-women.org/payment_links
- Enter password: jaigurudev
- Fill out the form, making sure that if the payment is an installment (deferred) payment that you only enter the amount of one installment.
- Please be sure to only enter the amount to pay without the dollar sign and without any extra spaces.
- We will only be able to take installment payments of four payments at this time online. If your student prefers two payments only, you will need to collect the payment credit card details and call it in to Bev at 641-814-6864.
- Click “Create Link.” (You can check to make sure the link you’ve generated has populated all of the student’s information correctly by opening the link yourself.)
- Copy the link that you generated and send it to your student in whatever email format you like. She will need to complete it.
- A copy of the receipt will automatically email to your student and you will receive a copy, so you can tell that the fee was processed. If you don’t get a receipt, you will need to follow up with the student regarding payment.
If, for any reason, you cannot enter the information yourself, then you are welcome to call Bev at either 641-209-1848 or 641-814-6864 so she can enter the card information directly one or two days prior to instruction and you will be informed that it was processed successfully.
All checks and money orders should be mailed with a copy of the signed payment form within one or two days after personal instruction to:

Your Teaching Compensation
We try to get your payment out to you as quickly as possible. You can either submit your banking information to be paid directly or receive a check from us in payment for your instructions. Please submit bank routing and account numbers to Bev Hanger if you prefer to be paid by ACH transfer. finance@gmdousa.org
The compensation is determined as follows:
- 55% less the App fee of 4.5% on every instruction whether or not the teaching is done with the App.
- Please note that taxes will not be deducted from your compensation check; you are paid as an independent contractor and must file a 1099 form with the IRS if you receive compensation of $600 or more when paying taxes.
We ask that you do everything possible to teach in a vastu building that is oriented to true North or East.
Follow-Up Programs for Those Learning Through GMDO
Checking, advanced lectures and refresher courses should be free and available to everyone you teach, whether in a GMDO Center or a Maharishi Foundation Center or in private facilities such as their or your home. Our national office can provide emails that you can send to your meditators if you wish.
GMDO offers you special courses that were created for women. These courses can be given in either Residence Course/WPA settings or as special Knowledge Days. We are very happy to connect by phone to any of these venues to speak about knowledge and there may be some occasions when it may be appropriate to discuss experiences with your meditators and Sidhas. Please email bhanger@tm-women.org if you are interested in any of these courses.
We are always interested in developing initiatives that involve knowledge for you to share with the women in your areas.
Your Own TM-Women.org Email Address
If you intend to teach any women or girls on a continuing basis (or already have), we will provide you with an email address to use for all TM-Women/GMDO interactions. Once we have set one up for you, please always use your TM-Women.org email address when doing any GMDO activities. Please contact Bev at bhanger@TM-Women.org if you want us to set up a TM-Women.org email address for you.
Nurses & Other Nationwide Outreach Initiatives
Continuing Education for Nurses, Licensed Massage Therapists, Licensed Social Workers, Registered Yoga Teachers
Nurses
We are happy to announce that a complete program is available for introducing nurses (94% of nurses nationwide are women) to the Transcendental Meditation program. The package includes a newly designed and revised brochure for nurses, scientific research brochures, posters, videos and an Introductory Lecture powerpoint presentation (slides plus suggested speaking points.)
GMDO has an exclusive affiliation with the American Holistic Nurses Association for licensed nurses to receive 23.25 contact hours of continuing education for their TM course and specific follow up. CE contact hours are now available for the course: “Transcendental Meditation for nurses: Developing capacity for improved judgment decision making and resilience under stress”
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Steps for certified TM teachers to offer the continuing education contact hour TM course to nurses:
- Email Sarah Sica at educationdirector@tm-women.org or call 641.451.1592 to set up an orientation call to go over the guidelines for the CE paperwork required. The orientation call MUST be completed before the Governor can offer the CE contact hours.
- The fee for the 23.25 contact hours is $100. If this is a MFUSA lead, the $100. CE payment is a separate payment made to TM for Women and processed through Bev Hanger bhanger@tm-women.org, 641 209 1848. The $100 CE payment is not entered into Netsuite.
If it is a GMDO lead, the $100 CE fee is added to the course fee in one payment, processed as above. The teacher is paid based on the TM course fee.

Licensed Massage Therapists
Transcendental Meditation for Women is an approved provider of continuing education by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
The course: The Transcendental Meditation Program for Licensed Massage Therapists: Reduced Stress, Improved Stamina, Balance and Inner Happiness is approved for 13 can also receive two contact hours just for attending the introductory and preparatory lectures.
Steps for certified TM teachers to offer the continuing education contact hour TM course to licensed massage therapists:
- Email a one page resume to Sarah Sica at educationdirector@tm-women.org or call 641.451.1592. The resume should include Education (both University, TM Teacher Training and Recertification) and Work Experience (both TM teaching and other—be brief please).
- When your request has been approved by NCBTMB, Sarah will contact you to review the course forms.
Licensed Social Workers
Transcendental Meditation for Women is an approved continuing education (CE) provider through the New York State Education Department Office of the State Board for Social Work and offers 13 contact hours to licensed social workers. Contact Sarah Sica educationdirector@tm-women.org for CE course forms and required follow up.
Registered Yoga Teachers
Registered yoga teachers can receive 13 CE contact hours approved by Yoga Alliance. Contact Sarah Sica educationdirector@tm-women.org for CE course forms and required follow up.
